Two Low-Hour John Deere Tractors Sell High on Iowa Farm Auction

A small farm retirement auction in north-central Iowa recently (August 26, 2014) featured a pair of very low-hour John Deere tractors.

This 2012 8235R tractor with 144 hours sold for $151,000 on a farm auction in north-central Iowa August 26, 2014

Along with the 8235R, real strong bidding activity was seen on the 2007 JD 9520 4WD tractor, bareback, with only 519 hours (pictured below). It sold for $171,000. This is the 4th highest auction sale price I’ve seen in the U.S. in the past 11 years on a 9520.
