1963 John Deere 3010 Sold for $15,500 on Ohio Auction

June 27, 2013

I’ve seen a lot of John Deere 3010 tractors sold at auction over the years.

So quite the happening last Saturday, June 15, 2013, on a collector auction in Johnstown, OH when a restored 1963 JD 3010 diesel tractor went for $15,500. That is the 2nd highest auction sale price I’ve seen the past 17+ years on a JD 3010.

The only JD 3010 tractor I’ve seen sold for more $$ was the 1963 LP Standard 3010 (repainted, Syncro, front weights) sold for $22,750 on another collector auction June 18, 2011 in southwest Minnesota. That was the same auction where the 1969 JD 4020 diesel tractor with front-wheel assist sold for a record auction price of $50,000.

Classic Deere tractors don’t go out of style, do they? As these recent auction sale prices from Ohio show, they sure hold their value well too. The Johnstown, OH collection auction June 15, 2013 was by my friends at Polk Auction out of New Paris, IN.
