Each year, farmers and growers patiently wait for the start of planting season, excited to plant grains that will eventually feed the country and world. This too, is one of our favorite times of the year.
Why? Not only because it’s critical to sustaining agriculture, but also because of the overwhelming amount of photos that are taken by crop farmers and shared on social media. Thousands of eye-catching images were shared on Twitter with the hashtag #Plant16 this year, showing all of the hard work that went into this planting season.
To honor all of the dedicated farmers and growers around the country, we put together this Twitter gallery with some of our favorite moments captured from Plant 2016! Take a moment to appreciate these breathtaking photos (and videos).
