John Deere compact track loaders, wheel loaders, and skid steers are all capable of taking on a variety of projects around the job site. Thanks to the expansive line of Worksite Pro™ attachments, owners of these pieces of equipment have the ability to add even more versatility to their equipment. The Worksite Pro lineup recently expanded further as new John Deere snow blade models were added.

Each of these new snow utility V-blade models (John Deere BV6, BV8, and BV9) gives operators more flexibility while also improving performance and productivity. But, what else do they have to offer? Let’s take a closer look.

John Deere BV6 Snow Blade

The John Deere BV6’s blades can be angled with help from hydraulics to four different positions. Adjustable skid shoes are incorporated to improve vertical blade productivity, and rubber cutting edges are available to reduce damage to the ground and blade. The BV6 is 64.5 in. wide when in its V-configuration and 74 in. when straightened. This snow blade model is compatible with John Deere 313 and 315 Skid Steers, as well as a number of other competitive models.

John Deere BV8 Snow Blade

The John Deere BV8 blade also angles hydraulically to four different positions and includes adjustable skid shoes. Its width when in the V-configuration measures out to 85.5 in., while it stretches to 98 in. when in its straight configuration. The V-configuration is ideal for pushing through hard pack snow. The BV8 V-blades are designed to work with John Deere 318E, 320E, 326E, 328E, and 332E Skid Steers; 319E, 323E, 329E, and 333E Compact Track Loaders; 204K, 244K, 304K, and 324K Compact Wheel Loaders. The blade can also be attached to other competitive models.

John Deere BV9 Snow Blade

The John Deere BV9 is the largest of the three new models and is a good choice for moving larger piles of dirt of packs of snow. It includes the same core functionality as the previous two models mentioned in this post and measures to be 96 in. wide when in its V-configuration. It reaches an impressive 110 in. when in its straight configuration and stands at 28 in. tall. The BV9 can be attached to competitive models, John Deere 318E, 320E, 326E, 328E, and 332E Skid Steers; 319E, 323E, 329E, and 333E CTLs; 204K, 244K, 304K, and 324K Compact Wheel Loaders.

Final Thoughts

All three blades can be easily added or removed from the equipment thanks to the Quik-Tatch™ system. Just because the snow has started to fall, it doesn’t mean it’s time to put away the skid steers, CTLs and compact wheel loaders. By adding a new John Deere snow blade to your equipment, the fun has only just begun.
