They also offer an ideal opportunity to meet other people in the field and learn more about the state of the industry. Let’s take a look at the five must-attend agriculture shows for 2019.
Farm Progress Show 2019
When: August 27-29, 2019
Where: Decatur, Illinois
About: Billed as the nation’s largest outdoor farm event, this is where major manufacturers often choose to roll out their latest offerings. The show itself has been in existence for 65 years, and it is often where Ag families come together. Attendees can find John Deere, a sponsor at this year’s event, at booths 157, 267, and 2166 – each booth is located within the Southwest Quadrant of the exhibitor hall.
Husker Harvest Days 2019
When: September 10-12, 2019
Where: Grand Island, Nebraska
About: This event is considered to be the world’s largest totally irrigated working farm show. There are live-action hay equipment demos, live-action cattle handling demos, and major equipment manufacturers on hand throughout this agriculture show. At this year’s event, John Deere can be found at booth 256 as well as at the John Deere Gator Ride and Drive area – Deere is also a sponsor at this agriculture show.

Big Iron Farm Show
When: September 10-12, 2019
Where: West Fargo, North Dakota
About: This event has more than 900 exhibit booths, training sessions, and demonstrations on everything agribusiness. The goal of the show is to educate farmers and ranchers from around the world about the latest in agricultural products and equipment. It is the largest farm show in the upper Midwest. As a sponsor at this year’s event, John Deere will be located in the Schollander (South Arena), Schollander (Main Arena), Schollander (Staging Area), and Gravel Lot.

Farm Science Review
When: September 17-19, 2019
Where: London, Ohio
About: Everything from precision agriculture to feeding farm animals is addressed at the Farm Science Review. There are educational talks and opportunities to speak one-on-one with experts from The Ohio State University College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences throughout the event. John Deere can be found at booths 173 and 1272, and John Deere Construction & Forestry can be found at booth 180.

Sunbelt Ag Expo
When: October 15-17, 2019
Where: Moultrie, Georgia
About: This show is often referred to as North America’s Premier Farm Show. There are more than 1,200 exhibitors on hand, harvesting and tillage demos, and an excess of 300 seminars and demos hosted throughout the event. A Silver Sponsor of this year’s event, John Deere will be located at booth A-1.
