When there are unmet jobs that need to be addressed through the use of efficient machinery, John Deere customers know that they can turn to the company for all of their needs. Whether they need a crawler dozer or a compact utility tractor, Deere has it ready and waiting to go into operation. True Value Rental is one of the companies that relies on Deere equipment, and it continues to work with the business to provide its customers with everything they need to tackle a wide array of tasks.

Running a Business with Deere

Mike Whitesell, the owner of True Value Rental, has been passionate about the rental industry for as long as he can remember. True Value Rental has been in existence for more than 22 years, and Deere has been a part of its success along the way.

“We like the True Value Rental name, just because the same reason we like the John Deere name,” says Whitesell. It’s an icon, really. It just stands on its own.”

Whitesell explains that many of his customers come to True Value Rental because it carries the John Deere brand. Since the company began carrying John Deere equipment back in 1997, it hasn’t looked back, and Whitesell says he can attribute some of his business’ success to Deere.

“You service them like you’re supposed to service them, and they keep running like a Deere, no issues whatsoever,” he says. “The reason we are able to rent the John Deere machines is because they’re so easy to run.”

Whitesell adds that his customers appreciate the fact that Deere equipment gets the job done and gives them one less thing to worry about, whether they’re out in the field or in their own backyard.

Providing Deere Equipment to Customers

Whitesell says that True Value Rental is currently running the 317G and 325G, as it fulfills the need of all of the business’ customers. In terms of compact excavators, True Value Rental features the 17G, as well as the 35G and 50G.

“They’re easy to load and extremely compact for getting into all the places they need,” Whitesell explains.

In the future, Whitesell sees his business continuing to work with John Deere as they roll out even more machinery to address the needs of his many customers.
