The first test compared cargo box size and volume to help judge their usefulness on the job. It turns out that the John Deere Gator actually holds a lot more than the industry standard.
John Deere Gator Comparisons: Terrain Capability
The second test looked at the terrain capability while carrying a heavy load. Each vehicle was loaded to carry its maximum cargo box capacity. While others were stuck, the John Deere Gator conquered each obstacle. In the end, only the John Deere Gator XUV 825i and 855D were able to successfully finish the course.

The 2015 John Deere Gator XUV 825i and 855D were put to the test in the third round, where pulling force was evaluated. The XUV 825i was evaluated to pull 2,683 pounds of force and the XUV 855D was measured at 2,547 pounds, no sweat! Watch this video to find out the results!
