Husker Harvest Days, which draws agricultural professionals from across the country, is slated to take place between September 12 and 14 this fall. The event will be held in Grand Island, Nebraska, at 9000 W. Husker Highway Wood River. On Tuesday and Wednesday, attendees will be able to visit between 8:00 and 5:00. Activities will be held between 8:00 and 4:00 on Thursday.
Overview
Farmers from more than 30 states and multiple countries attend Husker Harvest Days each year. The event, which is in its 40th year, gives attendees access to an excess of 600 exhibitors. Representatives are on hand to provide expert knowledge on the latest products and services available on the market.
Equipment
John Deere will be participating in this year’s Husker Harvest Days. In addition to showcasing utility vehicles, precision ag solutions, small tractors, planting equipment, spraying equipment, and harvesting solutions, Deere will be demonstrating its AutoConnect™ mower deck and ZTrak™ mower.
Kiosks and Demo Stations
John Deere representatives can be found at Booth No. 934, as well as at the John Deere Ride ‘n’ Drive location on North Shuttle Road. At the John Deere Ride ‘n’ Drive area, there will be a live demonstration of the Auto-Connect mower deck on a sub-compact utility tractor. Attendees will also be allowed to test drive a ZTrak mower for more insight into the equipment.

Educational Sessions
Specialists from John Deere will be discussing how to maximize yield and profitability at Booth No. 934 during each day of the event at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.
Throughout the event, there will be several educational series and demonstrations held by experts in agriculture. The Tractor and Machinery Collectors Club of Southwest Nebraska will be on hand for antique machine demonstrations, while Farm Futures analyst Bryce Knorr will be discussing grain market price outlook for 2017 crops. Herding dogs, wild horse gentling, cattle handling, and field preparation are also topics of seminars throughout the event.

John Deere will be located at Booth No. 934 in between Ninth and Tenth Streets, as well as off of North Shuttle Road (John Deere Ride ‘n’ Drive). Representatives will be on hand during each day of the event.
